I will write another blog on the magic behind the Sonya Skincare range and following my Beauty Business training day I went on with company, I was absolutely blown away with the benefits of these products & the ingredients inside them. The Serum is applied to hydrate, nourish and protect your skin from loss of moisture. It is so light weight, you only need 2-3 pumps, hence why this, along with all our products last so long! It contains white tea extract which is an EXCELLENT anti-ageing ingredient but also contains antioxidants which you need to help protect your skin against free radicals. Along with these two little miracle workers & a dose of vitamin E (Tocopheryl), of course you have our amazing Aloe, but there is another ingredient called 'Mimosa Bark extract'. I personally had never even heard of this before but I love learning about what it does. Mimosa is basically known for it's ability to restore and regenerate the damaged top layer of your skin (epidermis). This will help the skin return to it's natural pigmentation.

If I ask the question "have you ever used Aloe Vera before" the majority will say "yes - for sunburn" mainly when they have been on holiday & there is someone walking around handing a leaf out to smooth over the redness, and that is exactly right - it is often referred to as the 'Burns Plant'.
Aloe Vera is adaptogenic so it loves all skin types and adapts to the skins needs. It is so soothing, is anti-fungal, anit-viral & anti-bacterial, no wonder it is a well known fantastic healer.
When recommending our products, I like to make clear to my clients why Aloe is so different to the average topical cream! Most do not know we have 3 layers of skin - Epidermis layer 1 the outer layer, Dermis layer 2 where all our skin cells are forming on a daily basis & Hypodermis layer 3 - way deep down! When we apply topical lotions to our skin, it is only going to sit on the outer layer where as Aloe is the only known natural substance that has the ability to penetrate the dermis. Forever Aloe Vera however works differently, it's patented stabilisation process allows the ingredients to penetrate the deeper tissues & to keep all the other beneficial ingredients within each product active - hence why we get such positive results & feedback from our clients. I can certainly back those up from my own experiences too. My skin has never been so spot free since using our products and the amazing results I have had for my son with a certain dry skin condition is fantastic.
It is also worth pointing out here that if you choose to use one of our topical creams, whatever is on your skin is going to be carried down with the aloe. Example, if you have a nice warm bubbly bath with your favourite bubbly potion, you jump out the bath & you pop some of our aloe moisturiser on (remember ours is patented so remains active), whatever was in your nice warm bubbly bath, some of the residues will be carried down with the aloe. DON'T PANIC!!! I'm not saying this is bad but if you were to feel you were having a reaction - say a bit of stinging or itching, it is likely going to be the ingredients from your bubbly product that has been carried down with the aloe that could be irritating you. Interesting when you put it like that right?
If you are considering using our products for a certain skin condition, like anything - you have to give it time. It is known as a miracle plant but crikey, I think you will agree expecting an overnight miracle is a little unrealistic! The skin cycle on average is 21-28 days (unless you have psoriasis & the average skin cycle is a lot quicker) so at least try it for 28 days before you assume it isn't working for you.
